How pretty is this fucking cover?! My graphic designer worked SO HARD on it and despite fielding about 400 calls regarding colour palettes and shadowing that almost drove me point-blank insane (also the designer is my partner, a qualified graphic designer who rings me instead of, I dunno, yelling my name because I'm in the next room over), I adore it. I also checked in with a few NYT authors who I have the privilage of knowing (one day those emails will bounce and I will completely understand) and they also agreed it was a perfect blend of campy, smutty and playful. When you're at this stage of an upcoming release you're so in the weeds about what you're doing you long to shave your head and run away to the coldest place on earth, so it was such a relief to get positive feedback from people I admire so deeply. I still can't believe this is actually my job and my life. Â Also, my beautiful, exceptionally talented editor said she absolutely loves and believes in this book, and (whenever I'm not sweating) so do I.
I truly think Courtney and I have done an exceptional job telling a new and beautiful modern day romance. Two romances when you consider there're four lead characters <3Â
